Y2KASE ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your personal information. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your data.
Information We Collect
- Order information: name, email, shipping address, and phone number. Payment card details are entered directly with our payment processor (Stripe) and never touch our servers.
- Device information: IP address, browser type, and pages visited (via cookies).
- Marketing preferences: only if you opt in.
How We Use Your Information
- To process and fulfil your orders
- To send order confirmations and shipping updates
- To improve our store and customer experience
- To send marketing emails (only with your consent)
Sharing Your Information
We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with the service providers necessary to operate our store — including Stripe (payment processing), our shipping carriers, our email provider, tawk.to (live chat, loaded only if you start a conversation), Google Analytics (traffic measurement), and advertising partners such as Meta, TikTok, and Pinterest when those tags are configured.
When an order ships, we share the recipient's name, email address, and order number with Trustpilot so they can send a service-review invitation. That invitation is sent by Trustpilot under their own privacy policy.
Your Rights (GDPR)
If you are located in the EU or UK, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Contact us at hello@y2kase.com to exercise these rights.
Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies to run and improve the store:
- Essential cookies keep the store working — your shopping bag, sign-in session, and security. These are always on.
- Analytics & advertising cookies (Google Analytics 4, our own first-party visitor measurement, and configured ad pixels) help us understand how the store is used, measure campaigns, and improve the experience. These load when you visit the site.
- Live chat cookies are set by tawk.to so we can keep your conversation and its history together. Our help widget answers common questions without loading anything; the chat service and its cookies are only ever loaded if you choose to start a conversation with us.
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may prevent parts of the store from working.
Data Retention
We retain order data for 7 years for accounting purposes. You may request deletion of marketing data at any time.
